Desirea - Senior Portraits

I (Cheyenne) have known Desirea since she was a little girl, so I was very happy to be a part of this senior portrait session, and even though she's not a little girl anymore, she's still just as sweet as ever! What's more is she's as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. Congratulations Desi! We Love You!!

Talia - Senior Portraits

We will be featuring more of our seniors in the days to come. As I said in a previous post, photographing senior portraits is a blast! It's a time to really challenge yourself creatively as our goal is to not have all our seniors with the same portraits, but that they would be very individual, both in location and to their personality.

Of course, everyone has to have a picture with some part of the courthouse architecture. I'm amazed by how many different ways you can come up with to photograph there!

Talia is a Chino Valley High School graduate who, for someone who really didn't want to get portraits done, did a fantastic job! We have so many great portraits of Talia that it was really difficult to choose which ones to share with all of you. I randomly chose a few of my favorites.

This one was my personal idea. I love the silhouette of trees against the sky. It turned out exactly how I pictured it in my mind. I love when I find cool places like this!

Ok, on the individuality thing, I have to admit, we did use this wall once before on a senior last year. But, it's a great location! : )

Bryce - Senior Session - Senior Composite Prints

Senior portrait sessions are one of our favorite sessions to photograph. We love the diversity and the time we get with just one person. These sessions are not only a blast, but we love the opportunities to really get creative by coming up with portraits as individual as the student.
Bryce, a Chino Valley High School graduate, loves the outdoors and riding his quad. So, we incorporated both his truck and his quad into some of his senior portraits by capturing him just being himself and having fun! Below are some examples of our Senior Composite prints that we created from his session.

Jonas & Marcia - Scottsdale, Arizona

I love this picture of Jonas stealing a glimpse of his bride during prayer.

Jonas & Marcia were married on February 23, 2008. Their wedding was meticulously planned and carried out by Linda Singer of Soup to Nuts. Linda is a superb wedding coordinator, with whom Matthew has worked closely for many years. Everything was absolutely beautiful.
We enjoyed meeting this wonderfully sweet couple and are so happy they have found each other to spend the rest of their lives with. Their own children and grandchildren made up the bridal party, making it even more special. The ceremony was performed by both a rabbi and minister to express their combined Jewish and Christian backgrounds. They were married at their newly purchased home in the beautiful hills of Scottsdale. It was a gorgeous day!

Kevin & Laura - Prescott

Kevin & Laura had a beautiful backyard, holiday wedding at Laura's parents' home. Everything was decorated exquisitely. We knew from photographing their engagement session that we would enjoy documenting their wedding day, and we did! And of course, Matt had fun capturing the two of them in the get-away convertible!

Laura putting the finishing touches on her hair in her gown from Wedding Bells.
The guys sported tuxes with Christmasy red vests from Formally Yours.

Kevin & Laura recited their own special vows to each other.

I love this one! She catches the eye of her soon-to-be husband while Dad looks at her lovingly.

Laura was all smiles and so much fun to be around. The gorgeous flower arrangements and bouquets were created by Prescott Valley Florist.

Sugared 'n' Iced created this lovely wedding cake, complete with their monogram.

What better way to top off an evening wedding than with family, friends, and sparklers!

Trampus & Bonnie - Tlaquepaque Chapel, Sedona

Matthew went solo to this beautiful, intimate Sedona wedding. They were married on the evening of December 1, 2007. Trampus & Bonnie braved the dark, rainy afternoon and despite losing light very quickly, Matthew captured some amazing shots of this cute couple. Tlaquepaque is a truly wonderful place to photograph! If you can't tell, I loved the photos with the soft brown tones. : )

This is my personal favorite. I love this view of the bride entering in while the groom is anxiously awaiting her at the altar.
Harpist Laurie Riley provided the beautiful music for the ceremony and all the candles and decor were purchased through Red Rock Candles of Sedona.

She looks absolutely stunning!

This gorgeous gown was from David's Bridal. Flowers were provided by Events by Showstoppers. Tux rental was through I Do I Do out of Flagstaff.

The Robinsons - Downtown Prescott

Well, we're still trying to catch all of you up on some of our favorite photos from recent sessions. These kids are so darn cute, it's hard not to show all their pictures! The Robinsons are not only a returning client, but are one of our closest friends. Unfortunately, they may be moving away and we will miss them soooo much. : (

I just LOVE little Emily's expressions!!!

"White As Snow" Debuts!

Well, we mentioned not too long ago that we would be debuting a new session. We call it "White As Snow", and here it is! This session is a special 'white-on-white' portrait session, giving it an angelic, soft look. You have the option of adding special quotes or Bible scripture, or just leaving the photo as is. This session can be done in the comfort of your own home with our mobile studio. You will receive an hour of our time for this portrait session. We will then create anywhere from 10-20 beautiful White As Snow portraits from that session. If you would like more information on our new White As Snow portraits, please contact us. We will be showing off this session more in the future. This session works best on individuals (newborn, maternity, child) or small groups (children, mother and child, etc.)

Matt had to jump in there while I was shooting away and be his usual silly self. I threatened him that if he didn't get out, I'd put it on the blog, so here it is!
